I am a husband and a father of two beautiful little girls. I enjoy learning, growing and experimenting, both in photography and life. I love to cook and bake but dislike the clean-up. Whenever my daughter sees the Starbucks logo she says “that’s daddy’s coffee!” I play guitar, love all music (almost) and secretly wish I was Keith Urban. My skills in the kitchen come from my mother; my creativity and perfectionist tendencies from my father. I love travelling, cruising and all things Disney. I have always enjoyed being creative and expressive, although seemingly through mediums which are also very technical; first as a figure skater growing up, then when I taught myself to play guitar in university and which has now culminated in my passion for photography.
I love being a photographer as it’s all about storytelling. It’s about seeing the world through each client’s eyes. It’s about documenting the human spirit, your spirit, which is so unique. Documenting memories and turning them into tangible moments you can enjoy for a lifetime is what I set out to do with each and every client. I work to understand what makes each subject so different and so special and then capture that on film.
While I love all photography, my real passion is people. Weddings, portraits, candids, families, children; you name it, I shoot it. From coming up with creative ways to show personalities to hanging around the fringes and capturing peoples’ most candid moments, I enjoy it all!
“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever. . . it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything”
– Aaron Sussman
