I recently bought my daughter a Rey costume from the Star Wars: A Force Awakens movie. She loves to play dress-up and is a big Star Wars fan, so I thought she’d have fun with it; and she did! Once she had it on she of course asked if we could take some pictures, to which I happily agreed.
Unfortunately, shortly after she got it, she wore it to school for a dress-up day and lost the arm sleeves that came with it, which she was pretty upset about. So I went to Fabricland and managed to find some fabric that matched and made her some new sleeves that actually look better than the costume ones. There was also enough fabric left over to create a shawl, which we used with the goggles.
We just went out to the park behind our house, found a good spot I thought looked like it could be on Takodana (where Rey, Han, Chewie and Fin go to see Maz, for those who’ve seen the movie). I then had her give me her best Rey face!
Here are a few final edits from our mini-session.
